It takes you a while to understand what it is. It’s not a spell, but it’s too structured to be random ether. You don’t see what you can do except take a closer look. It seems to be on the roof of the hospital.
You fly up there, and see an odd mass of ether. It’s also extremely large. And it’s not doing anything… but you find yourself being pulled towards it.
A moment later, you find yourself somewhere else. But you can tell this isn’t a physical place – it’s more like a mindscape, only not produced by any mind. Ahead of you is an enormous mountain, except its color looks odd and it’s floating upside-down in the sky.
You’re reminded of the place where you met the Loremaster. Was there a spine buried under all that ether, and it’s drawn you in? Can you even get out?
Well, if there’s an exit, it’s likely to be ethereal in nature. So you focus your ether senses and see what you pick up.
When you do, you realize this place is even stranger than it seemed at a glance.
