Swamped Chapter 212 Page 11

The simplest thing you can think of is flying Minnie upwards. Unfortunately, one of the hirelings is just fast enough to grab her leg before it’s out of reach.

And the archer has taken notice. He fires his crossbow towards Minnie, but luckily the weight you added to it already makes it fall short. It hits the head of the hireling with his hand on Minnie’s ankle, but not with enough force to do any real harm.

You’re right in the middle of thinking of what to do about it when Lee slams the cart into Blade, knocking him over. Lee doesn’t slow down at all, and plows through the pair under Minnie. You then lower Minnie down to the cart, and Lee pushes it through a side path while the merfolk follow. The archer tries firing more bolts, but you just throw off their trajectory. He starts staring at his crossbow and curses it.

The boss seems to notice the commotion, but with you blocking his voice, he’s not getting anyone to do anything about it. So the only worry is a small number of hirelings giving chase.

You think about helping out, but then you realize just where Lee is headed.

  1. It’s the area where you confronted the shadow creature, there’s bits of gold and stuff shining, creating ominous shadows

Lee is headed towards a populated area, a market, and will probably run over a few people

Towards a pile of acid goo!

A bunch of hard crystal formations!

  2. Lee is headed towards a place John used to frequent, and can’t bear the thought of it being damaged, so he tries his best to redirect the momentum towards some other place, even if it means damaging someone else’s property

He’s heading towards a secret passage that could help you get out of this situation

They’re headed towards a place of town where the ground dips and the cobblestone walls are loose, John is familiar with this particular place and knows he can open a passage if he hits the wall at the right angle
