“Well, greblings have very good hearing. They can probably already hear our conversation,” you realize. You stand up and shout. “If someone can hear me, knock on the wall loudly!”
You promptly hear knocking.
“We’re just outside the door,” you continue. “We can’t move further down safely. Is there somewhere else you want us to be? Knock once for yes, twice for no.”
One knock.
“Well, now how are we supposed to ask them where it is?” Anthony asks. “Do I just ask about various locations? That could take us a while to go through and I might not even guess the place they want us to go. And if they could get someone in who could yell something at us, they could probably just rescue us from there. Plus, it’s not as if they know either of our troupe’s knock codes…”
Anthony’s rambling is interrupted by what is very clearly one of your troupe’s knock codes. Minnie or Bert must have found their way back.
“Hush! They’re contacting us. Be quiet, I think the message is about to repeat,” you say. “Need to make sure I catch it, this could be important.”
“Stand next to the end of staircase”
