“The thing about darkwood is, if it catches fire, it’s very hard to put it out,” the wizard says. “Obviously, wine in general is a fire hazard, which is why it’s usually kept in cold places, but you’d want to be especially careful with darkwood.”
“First thought I have is the cellar,” Badger notes. “That’s where most places keep their wine, after all.”
“There’s no cellar here. I happened to pass by a few times when they were building it,” you interject. “Never dug any holes as far as I saw.”
Minnie looks over.
“But there’s a tower,” she says. “One with narrow gaps in its walls, probably to keep the airflow going. That seems like it might be the place.”
You nod.
“Great. I’ll see what I can do to keep everyone’s attention away from it while you slip in.”
“The costume should help with that,” the wizard says. “But I have an idea that might help you even more.”
